The ERP Administrator is a member of the Application Management Team within Information Technology Services. The individual is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the University’s ERP systems. This includes working within Salesforce and other ERP systems making sure the team is continually meeting the university’s needs.

 

Reporting to the Director of Application Management, the ERP Administrator will work closely with Project Management Office, Technology teams, vendors, designated functional leads, and subject matter experts to assist in the configuration and implementation of enterprise-wide systems. This individual is responsible for administering overall system security, configurations, coordinating efforts around system upgrades, and assisting to determine training needs for new features. The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, and a critically thinking individual with strong communication, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills.

 

This is a full-time hybrid role with a minimum of two required days at Excelsior's home office of 7 Columbia Circle, Albany, NY, with the remainder of the days worked from home.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Administered and maintained various enterprise applications, including user management, system configuration and optimal performance across all systems.

Design and implement workflow, configuration, and security role changes.

Assure a strong security footprint per Excelsior standards.

Collaborate closely with business owners, business analysts and project managers to assure processes and standards are efficient.

Establish and maintain up-to-date documentation and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

Respond and resolve remedy ticket submissions; identify and report on end user needs/issues.

Support new and existing applications and integrations.

Analyze complex business processes and define application requirements and technical specifications.

Serve as system subject matter expert and confer with clients regarding processing needs and develop plans designed to enhance efficiencies.

Prepare accurate time estimates for projects and manage tasks to meet deadlines.

Other duties may be assigned.

Associate’s Degree in information technology or related field (Bachelor’s Degree preferred.)

3-5 years working with ERP/CRM applications.

Unit4 ERP experience would be helpful

Working knowledge in Salesforce administration and customization, particularly in data integration/modeling, automation, and process optimization.

Proficiency in Salesforce administration tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail to ensure project success.

Stellar communication and collaboration skills, essential for seamless teamwork across different departments.

Goal-oriented mindset, driven by a passion for achieving project objectives and exceeding expectations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification

The hiring salary range for this position is $76,00.00 - $86,000.00. The hiring salary range above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting.
