KIPP Capital Region Celebrates New Staff and Hosts 2-Day Professional Development Event
Last week, KIPP Capital Region hosted a two-day professional development event at the Albany Capital Center. The event, which was attended by over 350 staff, left CEO Stephanie Valle feeling connected, inspired and prepared for the new school year ahead.
In addition to celebrating new staff (picture attached), the group in its entirety participated in a school pride showcase, award ceremony and conversations around literacy challenges in schools. The staff also had an opportunity to participate in a "fireside chat" with KIPP Foundation CEO Shavar Jeffries (picture attached).
The school year for KIPP Capital Region begins Monday, August 28.
