The Rensselaer Land Trust, established in 1987, is dedicated to the conservation of open spaces, watersheds, and natural habitats of Rensselaer County for the benefit of our communities and future generations. We partner with private landowners, municipalities, and other conservation organizations to protect wetlands, forests, wildlife habitats and diversity. Our public preserves provide recreational opportunities including fishing, hiking & bird watching.
