Committees

Our committees provide an opportunity to work with key professional and community leaders and gain valuable leadership, management and teamwork experience.

By joining one of our committees, you'll maximize your membership investment and expand your networking opportunities. Committee opportunities include:

Ambassador Committee

The Chamber's ambassadors regularly contact  our membership to gain a better understanding of your business needs. Calling on behalf of the Chamber, ambassadors are volunteers who donate their time and talent to assist the Chamber with a variety of activities throughout the year and act as a direct link between members and our staff.

What does being an ambassador entail? Ambassadors actively assist members in getting involved and utilizing Chamber benefits. They are responsible for greeting and facilitating networking among members at various Chamber events. The ambassadors maintain regular contact with members and acts as a liaison to the Chamber staff by relaying any questions, ideas or suggestions. If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact Norris Pearson at [email protected]

Golf Classic Committee

The Chamber's Golf Classic is held annually in August and is always a sell-out event. Committee members are involved in various aspects of event planning, reaching sponsorship goals and more. If you're interested in participating in the Annual Golf Classic as a sponsor, prize donor or committee member, please contact Lucas Terwilliger at [email protected]

Troy Victorian Stroll Committee

The Troy Victorian Stroll Committee plans the annual event, held the first Sunday in December, and meets as early as August to begin preparations. Members are involved with planning all aspects of this popular holiday event. Visit www.victorianstroll.com for more information.
