Four Pets. Four Labels. Endless Bragging Rights. Happy T'ales Beer Label Contest Returns August 12 - September 2

Menands — Four lucky pets are about to become the faces of a fan-favorite craft beer.

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) and Brown's Brewing Company are bringing back the Happy T'ales Beer Label Contest, giving pet lovers the chance to turn their beloved companions into local celebrities while helping animals in need.

From August 12 through September 2, supporters can enter photos of their furry, feathered, or scaled family members for a chance to appear on one of four custom beer labels featured in a limited-edition Best Friends Lager 4-pack from Brown's Brewing Company.

Entering is easy. Photo submissions are $10 per pet, and votes are $1 each. At the end of the contest, the four pets with the most votes will earn beer label fame, tickets to MHHS's Oktopurrfest celebration on October 8 at Brown's Revolution Hall in Troy, and additional prizes.

Since launching seven years ago, the Happy T'ales Beer Label Contest has raised more than $220,000 to support the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society's lifesaving programs, helping provide shelter, medical care, enrichment, behavior support, and second chances for thousands of animals.

"Happy T'ales is one of those fundraisers that perfectly captures what our community is all about—celebrating the pets we love while making a real difference for animals still waiting for their happy endings," said Ashley Jeffrey Bouck, President and CEO of the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. "Every photo entered and every vote cast helps provide care and hope for animals who need us most. And thanks to our incredible partners at Brown's Brewing Company, four lucky pets will have the ultimate claim to fame."

Brown's Brewing has partnered with MHHS on Happy T'ales since the contest began and continues to support the organization's mission through this one-of-a-kind collaboration.

"We love seeing the excitement this contest creates every year," said Kelly Brown, co-owner of Brown's Brewing Company. "It's a fun way for people to celebrate their pets, and every vote helps the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society continue its important work. We're honored to be part of it."
