Teller

Start your career in financial services with a team that values service, collaboration, and professional growth. We are looking for a motivated Teller who is eager to learn, provide outstanding member experience, and grow within the credit union industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and transfers
Assist and educate members on the use of online accounts, mobile banking and other remote channels.
Assist members with ITM/ATM transactions and questions.
Build positive member relationships by identifying member needs and recommending products/services.
Resolve routine member concerns and issues efficiently, with professionalism, and patience to attract to maintain members.
Proactive use of fraud-detection resources, to identify suspicious activity early, protect member assets, and uphold integrity of the credit union.
Support branch opening/closing procedures and assist with branch workflow and coverage
Foster a fun and collaborative environment to service our members, grow relationships and engage with your peers.
Qualifications:

Experience: One month to one year experience. Previous credit union or financial experience preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Required Skills:
Passionate about exceptional member service and relationship building.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with banking systems, digital tools, and Microsoft office products

Employment Details:
Location: HRCCU Corinth Branch, 1 Third Street Corinth, NY 12822
Hours: Part-time, every week, Tuesday-Friday 9am-2 pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.
Payrate: $20.00-$24.00, based on candidate’s experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills relevant to the position.
