About the role

  • Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist Groundskeeping Supervisor in completing work-order related matters and report any concerns. Work orders include but are not limited to preventative maintenance, repairs, and apartment turnovers.
  • Ability to be proactive and alert office/supervisor of items/situations that require addressing or follow-up.
  • Maintain communication and professionalism with residents, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees. Ability to interact with a diverse group of people.
  • Landscape Maintenance: Perform regular landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and fertilizing to ensure grounds are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Trash and Debris Removal: Collect and dispose of litter, trash, and debris from common areas, parking lots, and grounds to maintain a clean environment.
  • Seasonal Duties: Manage seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow and ice control, and planting of seasonal flowers and plants.
  • Equipment Care: Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  • Facility Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs or potential hazards.
  • Assist with Maintenance Tasks: Support the maintenance team with minor repairs and upkeep of common areas as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Resident Interaction: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and address any concerns or requests promptly.

 

The pay range for this role is:
20 - 25 USD per hour(Adams Station)
