STRIDE Adaptive Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps children with disabilities and combat-injured veterans to play sports, enjoy recreational opportunities, and live an active and healthy lifestyle. Every year, STRIDE conducts over 11,000 free and low-cost lessons that empower more than 2,300 indivisuals with disabilities to participate in 18 different sport and recreation programs. STRIDE's 500+ volunteer instructors employ special adaptive equipment and unique teaching methods to help participants overcome their mobility limitations, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy physical activities that were previously inaccessible. STRIDE is a partner member of Disabled Sports USA and Professional Ski instructors of America (PSIA
