Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Low Voltage Technician role based in Troy, NY. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems, including electrical equipment and wiring. Daily tasks include equipment troubleshooting, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring proper installation of electrical components in line with safety and technical standards. The technician will collaborate with team members to address client needs effectively and provide reliable solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance and the ability to service and maintain electrical systems efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of Electricity and Electrical Equipment, including wiring, panels, circuits, and system components.
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with electrical systems and components.
  • Basic knowledge or coursework in access control, surveillance cameras and intrusion alarm principles and applications is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious practices, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in low voltage systems or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications or licensure are considered an advantage.
