Tech Valley Center of Gravity to Host Cocktail Party Fundraiser on August 8th



July 24, 2024, Troy, NY-- Tech Valley Center of Gravity (TVCOG) will be hosting a Cocktail Party Fundraiser on August 8, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Ryan’s Wake in Troy, NY. Tickets are $35 and include plentiful hors d’oeuvres, networking, a cash bar, and raffle prizes. All proceeds from the evening will support the needs of the COG.

“We are looking forward to a fun evening and hope to meet new members of our community,” said TVCOG Operations Director, Dan Falkenstrom. “Not only will this event support a great cause, but it will also be the perfect opportunity to network with members of our maker community including entrepreneurs, engineers, artists, and local officials”, he continued.  

Tech Valley Center of Gravity is a 501 (C)(3) makerspace, innovation incubator, STEAM education center, and creative community focused on interdisciplinary collaboration. Its 15,000 SQ FT facility features a coworking space and nine Maker Zones including 3D Printing, Electronics, Fiber Arts, Glass, Laser Cutter, Metal Shop, Welding Shop, and Wood Shop. It also features a Prototyping Center. Tours are available every Tuesday and by appointment. All are welcome.
