TBC Strengthens Capital Region Presence with H&M Acquisition

Albany, NY:  Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC), a leading CPA firm in New York’s Capital Region, announces the acquisition of Harvazinski & Montanye, LLP (H&M), a Latham, NY based CPA firm.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone in TBC’s growth strategy.  It represents an opportunity for TBC to broaden its client base and deepen its relationships within the Capital Region.  By combining forces, both firms will leverage their strengths and experience to deliver even greater value to clients.

“We are known in the Capital Region and beyond as one of the region’s most-trusted CPA firms, so we are excited to welcome H&M’s respected practice,” said TBC Managing Shareholder Robert L. Kind.

Founded in 1995, H&M provides a wide range of client-focused assurance and tax services. All H&M professionals have joined TBC and will work closely with TBC’s team to deliver exceptional services to clients. Lawrence W. Harvazinski and Eric W. Montanye have joined TBC as Directors.

“TBC has comprehensive experience in all the areas we work in, and their team will bring additional bench strength to serve our clients – and provide a foundation for the future,” said Lawrence W. Harvazinski.

“As we continue to grow, our primary commitment remains to maintaining our culture. We have always been strategic about selecting individuals to join our team. Our cultures and values are closely aligned, and we share a similar approach to achieving success with confidence,” said Kind.

“TBC is more than just a successful and growing CPA firm with a long history,” said Eric W. Montanye. “Seeing that their team members value the Firm and continue to feel valued themselves gives us great confidence that we are joining the right firm.”

TBC, a longstanding member of CPAmerica Inc., and a member of Crowe Global, offers a complete range of services tailored to provide customized accounting, tax, and comprehensive financial expertise. Serving thousands of clients, TBC excels in areas such as accounting, auditing, tax, advisory services, trusts and estates, business advisory, and pension services.
