National Bank of Coxsackie donates $2,500 to Cairo Development Foundation



Coxsackie, NY – [February 2026] – National Bank of Coxsackie (NBC) is proud to announce its recent $2,500 donation to the Cairo Development Foundation. The funds were made possible through the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY), which enables member banks like NBC to support local organizations that strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

The Cairo Development Foundation supports initiatives that enhance the Town of Cairo, including community improvement projects and programs that address food insecurity through the Community Fridge and Pantry. The organization’s efforts focus on meeting immediate needs while fostering long-term community vitality.

“We are very pleased and grateful to the National Bank of Coxsackie for this donation,” said Diana Benoit, President of the Cairo Development Foundation. “This donation will help us with projects around the Town of Cairo and help us put food in the Community Fridge and Pantry.”

“NBC is proud to support the Cairo Development Foundation and the important work they do to strengthen the Town of Cairo,” said John Balli, President & CEO of the National Bank of Coxsackie. “Community-driven organizations like the Foundation play a critical role in addressing local needs, and we are honored to support their efforts through this FHLB grant.”
