Kristin Vivian Named New Director of Institutional Advancement at Academy of the Holy Names

Board of Trustees Member Will Step Down from Role to Accept New Position

(Albany) – February 28, 2023. Dr. Martin Kilbridge, President of Academy of the Holy Names, announced today that, Kristin Vivian, a former member of the Holy Names Board of Trustees, has been named AHN’s new Director of Institutional Advancement. Vivian is stepping down from her board role, which she held for three years, to accept the position.

“Holy Names is on the move,” Kilbridge said. “With the addition of Kristin, we are excited to build on the tremendous success of the departing Nora Ritinski and our incredible advancement team.”

“I am honored to take up the role of Director of Institutional Advancement,” Vivian said. “I recognize the impact of the previous director, and I look forward to working on behalf of a school I love, forming relationships with Alumnae and other community members who recognize the value of an AHN education for young women.”

Vivian brings to the position years of demonstrated experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors, acting as a salesperson, manager, and relationship builder, most recently serving as Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Previously, Vivian was employed by The Eddy Community Services Division for St. Peter’s Health Partners, and the Business Banking Division for Bank of America. As a parent of two AHN graduates, Vivian draws on her own and her daughter’s positive experiences at Holy Names to fuel her enthusiasm for this position.

Vivian will assume her new role on March 13.
