It Takes All of Us: Best Night Together Brings Community Together for New York’s Youth and Families
For 140 years, Together for Youth has believed in the power of people showing up for one another. On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, that spirit will come to life at Best Night Together, an evening that brings community members, leaders, partners, and supporters together around a shared commitment to New York’s youth and families.
Held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The Egg’s newly renovated Hart Lounge, Best Night Together presented by Mohawk Insurance Services LLC will celebrate the people and partnerships that make stronger futures possible while raising critical funds to support youth and families across the greater Capital Region and beyond.
Funds raised through Best Night Together go directly toward needs that can make a meaningful difference in a young person’s or family’s life. In 2025, the event raised more than $75,000, helping families navigate urgent challenges, maintain stable housing, access food and other essentials, prepare young people for employment and college, and connect youth and families with resources and opportunities to move forward.
Together for Youth works alongside children and families where life happens; in their homes, schools, neighborhoods, and communities. In 2025, the organization delivered 7,568 services to 7,388 individuals throughout New York State.
As families continue to navigate financial pressures, housing instability, behavioral health needs, and other challenges, funds raised through Best Night Together give Together for Youth the flexibility to respond to what people need in the moments that matter.
“For 140 years, we’ve seen what can happen when people choose to show up for one another,” said Brian Parchesky, Chief Executive Officer of Together for Youth. “No young person or family gets where they’re going alone. It takes people who believe in them, communities that create opportunities, and organizations willing to walk alongside them through both the challenges and the possibilities. Best Night Together is a celebration of that, and an invitation for all of us to be part of what comes next.”
Guests will enjoy an evening centered on connection, celebration, and community, featuring a curated silent auction, the debut of a special 140th anniversary video, food stations from Old Daley Catering, entertainment by the SCCC Jazz Combo, and dessert from Snowman Ice Cream.
