GlobalFoundries-Town of Malta Foundation Awards Annual Grants for 2025



Malta, N.Y., December 11, 2025 – For the 15th consecutive year, GlobalFoundries (Nasdaq: GFS) (GF) today announced that the GF-Town of Malta Foundation has awarded 41 grants totaling $185,000 to local organizations that support a variety of community needs and programs. With this year’s 2025 grants, the Foundation, formed by GF and the Town of Malta, has placed more than $2M into service in the Malta community since 2011.  

 

The 2025 Malta grant awards will be presented today at the David R. Meager Malta Community Center at the annual awards ceremony.  

 

“Entering our fifteenth year of giving, these grants reaffirm our long-term promise to the local community,” said Admar Semedo, president of the GF-Town of Malta Foundation. “Every award expands opportunities that strengthen essential services, youth programs and community services while building a more inclusive, resilient Malta for the future.”

  • Ballston Spa Junior Baseball League – $3,000

 

  • Ballston Spa Middle School PTA – $1,000

 

  • Ballston Spa Soccer Club – $1,500

 

  • CAPTAIN Community Human Services, Inc. – $4,000

 

  • Carpe Diem Theater – $3,000

 

  • Community Lunch Program via Malta Ridge Methodist Church – $5,000

 

  • Friends of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter – $2,000

 

  • Gateway House of Peace – $3,000

 

  • Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York – $1,500

 

  • Gordon Creek Elementary School PTA – $3,500

 

  • Malta Community Emergency Food Pantry via St Peter Lutheran Church – $10,000
