Career Jam Welcomes Meagan Masti as Chief Operating Officer, Ushering in a New Era of Strategic Leadership and Innovation

Career Jam, a leading name in workforce development, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Meagan Masti as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With her visionary mindset and over a decade of marketing and design experience, Meagan brings a fresh perspective to the company's executive team.

Most recently, she served as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communication at Maria College in Albany, NY, where she showcased her exceptional creative and strategic leadership abilities. Under her guidance, the college underwent a successful rebranding initiative, complete with extensive research, creative development, a new commercial, the introduction of the college's first mascot, and a complete website redesign. The grand unveiling of the new brand 'Transforming CAREers' during the Super Bowl pre-game commercial spot and the subsequent Random Acts of Kindness Day initiative exemplify Meagan's innovative approach to marketing and community engagement.

"Bringing Meagan Masti on board as our Chief Operating Officer is a game-changer for Career Jam.” says Ryan Van Amburgh, Founder and CEO. “With her visionary mindset, unmatched marketing and design expertise, and a proven track record of transformative leadership, Meagan sets us on an unstoppable course for exponential growth. Her ability to inspire and collaborate, combined with a deep passion for empowering the next generation of students, aligns perfectly with our vision to revolutionize career exploration. Together, we are poised to elevate Career Jam to new heights, unlocking boundless possibilities for students nationwide as they envision and create their own pathways to success."

Driven by her passion for inspiring the next generation of students, Meagan pursued a Master's Degree in Art Education from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. Her academic excellence earned her an outstanding academic achievement award in education, further propelling her to merge her creative talents with real-world experience.

Throughout her professional journey, Meagan has consistently demonstrated a determination for growth and development. She honed her skills as she worked alongside a venture capitalist, learning the intricacies of building businesses from the ground up. Meagan's dedication and self-motivated learning earned her multiple well-deserved promotions at Maria College, starting as a part-time graphic designer to her most recent role as Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communication at Maria College.

Meagan's managerial approach has centered around cultivating a performance-driven environment that capitalizes on each team member's individual strengths. As a result of her outstanding leadership, Meagan's team at Maria College secured multiple accolades, including winning the 2020 Capital Region MarCom Awards for their campaign "Find Your Course. Find Your Future." Additionally, they were recognized as a finalist for the 2022 "Be a Maria Nurse" campaign.

In July 2022, Meagan took a leap forward in her professional development by completing a Management Essentials certificate from Harvard Business School Online. The program equipped her with critical decision-making skills, a process perspective, and the ability to manage and lead change effectively.

Van Amburgh continues, “As Meagan takes the helm as Chief Operating Officer at Career Jam, the company is poised to enter a new phase of growth and national expansion. Her strategic leadership, management acumen, collaborative spirit, and creative prowess align seamlessly with the company's vision to empower students to explore and shape their future.”

"It is an honor and privilege to join Career Jam as Chief Operating Officer," said Meagan Masti. "I am excited to work alongside a team that shares my passion for guiding students on their journey towards fulfilling careers. Together, we will elevate Career Jam's impact and reach, ensuring that students across the nation are inspired to imagine their brightest futures."

Career Jam welcomes Meagan Masti with open arms and is confident that her wealth of experience and leadership will propel the company to even greater heights. The company looks forward to a bright and promising future under Meagan's direction, continuing to provide transformative experiences to students as they embark on their personal and professional journeys.
