STRIDE Adaptive Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps children with disabilities and combat-injured veterans to play sports, enjoy recreational opportunities, and live an active and healthy lifestyle. Every year, STRIDE conducts over 11,000 free and low-cost lessons that empower more than 2,300 indivisuals with disabilities to participate in 18 different sport and recreation programs. STRIDE's 500+ volunteer instructors employ special adaptive equipment and unique teaching methods to help participants overcome their mobility limitations, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy physical activities that were previously inaccessible.
