Mohawk Hudson Humane Society Hosts Free Seminar on Becoming a Foster Volunteer
Menands, NY – The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) invites community members to attend a free seminar, "Foster Care for Animals," on Wednesday, February 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This informative and interactive session will take place at the Society’s Lisa Mitzen Animal Care Center, located at 3 Oakland Avenue in Menands. Use 193 Broadway for GPS.
Led by Jillian Leibach, MHHS Senior Director of Animal Pathways, the seminar offers insights into the rewarding experience of fostering animals. Attendees will learn how to provide temporary homes and the essential care that helps animals thrive. The session will cover all aspects of becoming a foster volunteer, from basic requirements to the profound impact fostering has on the lives of animals in need. Last year, volunteers fostered 776 animals.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to make a difference in the lives of animals. Pre-registration is encouraged. Reserve your spot today at mohawkhumane.org/seminar-series.
