June 3, 2026 — Acclaimed guitarist, bandleader, and musical curator Dweezil Zappa celebrates 20 years of bringing the music of his father, Frank Zappa, to audiences around the world with the DZ20: Like Father, Like Son Tour—a milestone honoring two decades of preserving, performing, and expanding one of modern music’s most adventurous catalogs.
For 20 years, Dweezil has dedicated himself to interpreting the sophisticated, unpredictable, and technically demanding compositions of Frank Zappa with passion, precision, humor, and fearless musicianship. What began as a deeply personal connection to his father’s music evolved into a celebrated live experience that has introduced generations of fans to the complexity, irreverence, and imagination embedded within Frank’s work.
Known for his masterful guitar playing and deep musical connection to his father’s legacy, Dweezil has spent two decades assembling elite musicians to faithfully—and creatively—perform material spanning rock, jazz, orchestral, fusion, and experimental traditions.
