Business for Good Foundation Donates $30,000 Matching Grant to Vanderheyden to Support Special Needs Career Training at The Vandy Thrift Shoppe
Announcing a $30,000 matching grant from the Business for Good Foundation to Vanderheyden in support of special needs workforce training at The Vandy Thrift Shoppe in downtown Albany. Matching contributions from Pioneer, Stewart’s Shops, Broadview, and M&T Bank bring the total investment to $60,000.
A check presentation and photo opportunity will take place on Thursday, December 18th at 11:30 AM at The Vandy Thrift Shoppe, 412 Broadway, Albany. Leadership from Vanderheyden and the Business for Good Foundation will be available for interviews.
This funding supports hands-on job training for youth and adults with mental health challenges, trauma histories, and intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping participants build real-world skills in a supportive environment.
