BANK OF GREENE COUNTY ANNOUCES $10 MILLION IN LOW INTEREST LOANS TO SUPPORT RENSSELEAR COUNTY BUSINESSES



EAST GREENBUSH, NEW YORK – The Bank of Greene County announced today it has pledged up to $10 million in low interest loans to support business investments in Rensselear County. This pledge is part of the Grand Opening specials for the Bank of Greene County’s new Branch in East Greenbush, located at 602 Columbia Turnpike. 

Don Gibson, President & Chief Executive Officer stated: “Our new Rensselear County low-interest loan program is designed to support local businesses and entrepreneurs, and spur investment in their business ventures and expansions.  We are excited to have opened our second Branch in the Capital Region, and first branch in Rensselear County.  We are deeply rooted in the communities we serve, and know that the growth and prosperity of the Bank is tied to the people and communities we serve.”

John Antalek, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer also stated, “We are very excited to be expanding into the East Greenbush and Rensselear County area, and helping support local business owners.  This low-interest loan program is specifically designed for owner occupied properties, and the Lending team looks forward to meeting local business owners and seeing how the Bank of Greene County can help them achieve their short and long-term business goals.”
