The Leadership Institute is one of the Chamber's most unique programs. This skills-based professional development program brings participants face-to-face with relevant business and social issues by guiding them through real world situations presented by some of the region's most accomplished professionals.

Participants are provided with an opportunity to develop their leadership abilities, entrepreneurial skill-sets, and team building capabilities, increasing his or her value to their organization and to the greater community.

Sessions are conducted monthly at various locations throughout Rensselaer County and the Tech Valley region, beginning with an overnight retreat at Camp Chingachgook on Lake George.

The Leadership Institute integrates leadership skill building with valuable networking opportunities. As participants explore styles, examine options and establish relationships, they make a valuable contribution to their employers and the business community through their continuous development. The program concludes with a graduation dinner and ceremony in April.
