YWCA-GCR’s Victorian Tea in Troy



Join YWCA of the Greater Capital Region, Inc. for a tea party with a twist! This unique, entertaining and historical event will include:

  • A presentation of VICTORIAN DANCE from the students of Albany Academy for Girls Dance Workshop.
  • A plated ENGLISH STYLE TEA LUNCH with all of the fixings: tea sandwiches, scones and desserts.
  • HISTORICAL TROLLEY TOUR OF DOWNTOWN TROY with Troy Historian, Kathy Sheehan, from the Rensselaer County Historical Society.
  • Wear a fun and lively hat to compete in our HAT CONTEST. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will be awarded courtesy of Truly Rhe.
  • Children will enjoy their own special menu and arts and crafts - A PERFECT DAY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.
  • Plus, a chance to win amazing prize(s) in our RAFFLE CONTEST.
  • NEW THIS YEAR - AUCTION ITEMS AND A FUN HAT FASHION SHOW emceed by Sabrina Mosseau, 2016 Resourceful Woman of the Year - Hats courtesy of Truly Rhe.
  • RAFFLE TICKETS: 5 for $10.00, 10 for $20.00, 20 for $30.00. Do not need to be present to win.
