United Way of the Greater Capital Region Is Accepting Nominations for the Capital Region Philanthropist of the Year



NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 

Join us in celebrating the contributions and achievements of people who make our community a better place by giving their time and talent and nominate a candidate for Philanthropist of the Year!

WHO DESERVES THIS AWARD?

The award recognizes the achievements and contributions of an individual who has given their time, talent and treasure to positively impact our community. This honor will be awarded to a person(s) who has accomplished one of the following:

  • Contributed a generous donation(s) to an organization(s) or cause(s) that made a lasting impact; 

  • Goes above and beyond volunteering with an organization(s); 

  • Leads or has started a non-profit organization that is making a powerful difference in our community. 

NOMINATE SOMEONE TODAY!

Please take the time to nominate a friend, colleague, client or employee who deserves to be recognized. The deadline to submit nominations is Thursday, February 28 at 5 pm.  Submissions will be narrowed down by the community committee.  All finalists will be invited to United Way’s Annual Awards where the Philanthropist of the Year will be announced.  United Way's Annual Awards is Thursday, May 29 at Albany's Capital Center.
