UAlbany Students to Deliver Hundreds of Holiday Gifts to Kids in Need

University at Albany students will embody the spirit of the holidays by delivering and unloading hundreds of holiday gifts collected for children served by Northern Rivers Family of Services member agencies Northeast Parent & Child Society and Parsons Child & Family Center through the Northern Rivers Holiday Giving program. Northern Rivers is working to collect 6,000 gifts for 1,400 children this holiday season between now and December 17.

The bus will collect students and gifts across the UAlbany campus, beginning at 10 a.m. The bus will arrive at the Northern Rivers campus at about 11:30.

This event marks the 10th year that UAlbany students, faculty and staff have collected and delivered busloads of gifts for the thousands of children served by Northern Rivers. The gift dropoff kicks off the home stretch of the Northern Rivers Holiday Giving campaign.
