Saratoga National Bank Announces Plans for Expansion with Rotterdam Branch

Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce plans to expand its presence in Schenectady County with a new Rotterdam branch. This marks the 11th location for the bank.

The bank will establish an office with a full range of financial services at 1963 Altamont Avenue. Pending all regulatory approvals, it is expected to open in late 2018 or early 2019 and will include convenient features such as drive-up ATM and drive-up teller services. The addition of this office will result in three new positions.

Since 2013, Saratoga National Bank has focused its efforts on new-branch growth with expansion into Rensselaer, Albany, Southern Saratoga and Schenectady Counties. The Rotterdam branch will be the bank’s second opening in Schenectady County in the last two years.

“Our further expansion into Schenectady County demonstrates our desire and commitment to build strong relationships in the Capital District,” said President and CEO, David S. DeMarco. “We see immense opportunity in this region. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year, we are excited to continue growing our business and we look forward to bringing our style of community banking to the residents, entrepreneurs and local businesses in this vibrant community.”

Saratoga National Bank, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2018, provides banking, wealth management and insurance through 10 locations across the Capital Region. It is rated a 5-Star Superior institution by BauerFinancial. More information is available online at saratoganational.com.
