Rep. Faso Announces Veterans Resource Fairs Across District

Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook) will be hosting three additional Veterans Resource Fairs in the coming weeks. The resource fairs are designed to bring together numerous Veterans service organizations, including private and governmental agencies, into one place.

"Unfortunately, many veterans have a difficult time getting access to the benefits that they have earned from serving their nation," said Rep. Faso. "The purpose of these fairs is to create a one-stop shop for whatever issue a veteran may have by bringing together professionals from multiple agencies and organizations, veteran service officers, and my staff.”

Present at the event will be local Veterans Service Officers (VSOs), who can assist veterans in filing claims and navigating the appeals process.  Also attending will be representatives from VA facilities along with other service organizations to help veterans with benefits and eligibility. All local veterans are welcome to attend. More detailed information will be announced closer to the date of the respective events.

The three events are free to attend and no RSVP is required. Potential attendees may contact the New York 19th Congressional District Kinderhook Office at (518) 610 – 8133 or the Kingston Office at (845) 514 - 2322 for questions or to inquire on further details. Interested attendees can also email the office at Faso.House.Gov/Contact for further details.
