Rep. Faso Announces Veterans Resource Fairs Across District



Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook) will be hosting three additional Veterans Resource Fairs in the coming weeks. The resource fairs are designed to bring together numerous Veterans service organizations, including private and governmental agencies, into one place.

"Unfortunately, many veterans have a difficult time getting access to the benefits that they have earned from serving their nation," said Rep. Faso. "The purpose of these fairs is to create a one-stop shop for whatever issue a veteran may have by bringing together professionals from multiple agencies and organizations, veteran service officers, and my staff.”  

Present at the event will be local Veterans Service Officers (VSOs), who can assist veterans in filing claims and navigating the appeals process.  Also attending will be representatives from VA facilities along with other service organizations to help veterans with benefits and eligibility. All local veterans are welcome to attend. More detailed information will be announced closer to the date of the respective events.

The three events are free to attend and no RSVP is required. The 19th District Congressional office previously hosted Veterans Resource Fairs in Loch Sheldrake on August 17th and in Oneonta in September 23rd. The upcoming fairs will be the third, fourth, and fifth Veterans Resource Fairs organized and hosted by the office.
