Pierce Communications hires Aja Landolfi as new Public Relations Associate
Albany, N.Y. — Pierce Communications has announced the addition of Aja Landolfi to its team as a public relations associate. In her new role, Landolfi is responsible for implementing strategic communications efforts for the agency’s clients and assisting senior team members with executing communications programs.
Landolfi is a recent graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, with a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism and public relations. While at Plattsburgh, she wrote for the campus newspaper, as well as the online magazine, where she later became the editor-in-chief. She was also a part of a group of public relations students who worked closely with the campus Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to help create a campaign to raise awareness about the various diversity issues that often take place in a college classroom.
“We are thrilled to have Aja join our team. Her energy, work ethic and talents will be a huge benefit to our clients,” said Pierce Communications President Jonathan M. Pierce, APR.
Prior to joining Pierce Communications, Landolfi was an intern staff writer for Lake Champlain Weekly where she wrote a variety of articles. She is a former member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and a current member of the Capital Region Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Landolfi also currently freelances as a music writer for Lake Champlain Weekly and the non-profit Girls Behind the Rock Show.
