NYS Pathways in Technology Early College High School Partnership Awards Announced
Governor Cuomo recently announced six winners in the fourth round of the New York State Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) partnership awards.
Locally Hudson Valley Community College and Schenectady County Community College will partner with high school students to work with business partners including MVP Health Care, Linium and others.
These partnerships will allow students to earn an associate degree at no cost and will increase their chances of being hired after graduation with participating companies.
These newly awarded public-private educational partnerships add to the growing number of New York high school students currently preparing for high-skill jobs in technology, manufacturing and healthcare-related fields.
This program targets the importance of a college education while also focusing in on the critical need to provide students with a career and job after graduation.
