Northern Rivers Welcomes Foster Care Homefinder



Northern Rivers Family of Services has hired Claude Peart as a Homefinder for Schenectady County foster families through the organization’s Give Hope a Home foster care campaign.

Peart will be responsible for finding, maintaining and supporting foster families throughout Schenectady County as part of Give Hope a Home, which serves nearly 300 foster children throughout a 21-county service area in New York. He will work out of the organization’s 1 Genium Plaza office in Schenectady.

Peart rejoined the organization in 2017, previously having served from 2007 through 2013 as a residential supervisor, waiver service provider and teaching assistant. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from the University at Albany.

The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) has named Hudson Valley Community College President Roger Ramsammy to its Commission on Structured Pathways.
