Mosaic Associates Architects hires two architects
Mosaic Associates Architects, DPC has hired two new employees, Julie Jacques and Rebecca Gamarra Jones.
Jacques is a licensed architect with 15 years of experience in a wide range of building types, including medical, high-tech manufacturing, government, commercial office, residential, fitness and wellness, mixed use, and historic preservation. Prior to joining Mosaic, she worked at the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and at HCP Architects, both in Albany.
A New York State licensed and registered architect, Jacques earned a bachelor of science degree in building science with a concentration in architectural design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a Green Globes professional.
Jones returns to Mosaic after a two-year stint as a campus planner at the University of Albany where she designed placemaking solutions campus wide. In her previous work as an architectural designer at Mosaic, she designed new learning spaces for K-12 clients. She was involved in field analysis and documentation; construction document development; and coordinating designs with mechanical, electrical, and structural consultants.
An architectural designer, Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture with a minor in environmental design and a master’s degree in architecture from the University at Buffalo.
