Mohawk Hudson Humane Society Offers Animal Learning Lab Summer Camp For Kids



The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society will offer its Animal Learning Lab (ALL) Summer Camp Program for kids ages 7-12 during July and August. Animal Learning Lab (ALL) is a weeklong, interactive camp where kids will learn about companion animals, wildlife, service animals and others. Program will feature hands-on and interactive activities and guest speakers in the Society’s new state-of-the-art Animal Care Center, located at 3 Oakland Avenue in Menands. 

Animal Learning Lab (ALL) is a weeklong interactive camp where campers will learn about wildlife, farm animals, and service, working and companion animals! The children will learn how different kinds of animals behave, where they live, and what kind of care they need, among other things. There will be guest speakers, hands-on and interactive activities, and tons of opportunities to learn to be a Humane Hero! Topics will vary between sessions based on speaker availability.

Sessions will be held Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Campers should bring their own midday snack or lunch. Each session is limited to 20 campers.

After June 1: $275
