Mesiti-Céas Named CSArch Executive Principal

CSArch, a leading architecture, engineering, and construction management firm in the Capital Region, announces the promotion of Tina Mesiti-Céas AIA LEED Green Assoc. to executive principal. Tina will serve on the firm’s executive board with Daniel Woodside AIA, Richard Peckham AIA, and Thomas Ritzenthaler AIA.

“It’s no wonder that Tina’s election to executive principal was a unanimous vote,” said Daniel Woodside, executive principal at CSArch. “She’s been the design lead on several of our most successful projects, is integral to maintaining some of our strongest relationships, and exceeds in her personal service to our clients. It is with great pride and honor that we celebrate her promotion and welcome her leadership.”

Tina joined CSArch in 2007 as a senior associate. In 2014 she was promoted to principal and in 2015 to managing principal. Her appointment to executive principal is her third promotion in four years.

Tina’s portfolio features multiple award-winning projects for which she provided design leadership, including Pioneer Bank’s Downtown Albany Branch Renovation, Merit Design Award; Albany High School Redesign, Citation Design Award; Cohoes City School District’s Additions and Renovations, Honor Design Award; and Malone Central School District’s Capital Improvements, Honor Design Award. Each of these awards were granted by the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

She has nearly 20 years of experience in the design of educational, corporate, institutional, and mixed-use public and private facilities. Collaborators and colleagues alike recognize her innate ability to translate clients’ ideas and wishes into exceptional projects and for providing knowledge-based solutions that inspire and improve daily life.

She oversees project development, ensures design quality, and works collaboratively to support an integrated design approach throughout programming, conceptual design, and design development. Tina is also integral in firm-wide management, marketing, and strategic planning.

Tina is the president-elect of the American Institute of Architects, Eastern New York region (AIAENY) and a member of the Society for College and University Planning and the United States Green Building Council.
