Mayor Patrick Madden Announces Launch of New Website for City of Troy

As part of City Hall’s efforts to serve the residents and businesses of Troy effectively and efficiently, Mayor Patrick Madden announced the launch of the City of Troy’s newly redesigned website. The site can be viewed at
“City websites are important online resources for local communities, allowing residents and business owners to connect directly with City Hall and further enhance citizen involvement on important issues and signature municipal services,” said Mayor Patrick Madden. “The recent upgrades to the City of Troy’s website further expand our use of digital technology and social media tools to link residents to the services and vital information they need. We will continue to explore and implement new ways to engage with our neighborhoods to develop Troy into a 21st century city and promote all the exciting amenities and activities that our community has to offer.”
Features of the redesigned site include a simplified layout and navigation, an improved user-friendly search feature, updated newsfeed timeline and expanded online City calendar, and quick-link options for bill pay and frequently requested forms & documents. The website meets accessibility requirements and is now optimized for mobile including smartphones, tablets and other handheld devices. Additional features are planned for implementation in the coming months.
The redesign was developed in cooperation with the City of Troy’s Bureau of Information Services and Overit Media, a local digital design and marketing agency.
