Linium Recruiting, the Capital Region’s leading professional staffing agency serving industries from IT, science and engineering to health care, accounting and sales, today announced the addition of a seasoned recruiter with proven expertise in hiring skilled professionals for a host of technology positions.

Derrick Satterwhite brings more than a decade of high-tech recruiting experience to his new role as senior talent acquisition manager at Linium Recruiting. Most recently, he spent nearly five years as a senior talent acquisition partner at General Electric Corporate & Power in Niskayuna, and prior to that, spent nine years as a professional recruiter for TEK Systems, based in Albany.

Satterwhite specializes in hiring talented professionals for positions in information technology and systems, telecommunications, and various engineering and technical roles.

“We are delighted to welcome Derrick to the team, and to further build our capabilities to serve clients seeking top-notch technology professionals,” said Miriam Dushane, Managing Director, Upstate New York for Linium Recruiting. “His expertise and track record of success will provide employers with a competitive advantage in hiring skilled employees for high-tech positions, particularly amid a tight employment market.”

In placing more than 3,000 skilled professionals with over 250 companies over the past decade, Linium Recruiting is recognized as one of the best recruiting firms in the nation.
