John M. Shartrand, CAP COM Financial Services Program Manager, Honored As A "2019 Program Manager of the Year" By LPL Financial

John M. Shartrand, CAP COM Financial Services program manager at CAP COM FCU, was recently honored as a 2019 Program Manager of the Year by LPL Financial, a leader in the retail financial advice market and the leading independent broker/dealer* serving banks and credit unions. Shartrand leads CAP COM Financial Services (CCFS), which focuses on helping members with their financial life management.

Shartrand and CAP COM Financial Services were selected from over 240 LPL Financial programs to be honored as a Top Investment Program, based on the investment/wealth management program’s display of innovation, change leadership and execution through partnership.

“John has done a remarkable job demonstrating his leadership and commitment to helping clients and members gain access to valuable objective financial advice,” said Arthur Osman, LPL Financial executive vice president, Institution Services Business Consulting. “We are proud to partner with John and CAP COM FCU, and applaud the work they do to make a difference in their member’s financial lives and build value for the services the credit union provides.”

“At CAP COM FCU we have a purpose to benefit every member, every time, every day and I have attempted to honor that purpose since joining CAP COM in 1995. Being recognized as a Top Program by LPL is an honor that we feel is a reflection of our clients and our team’s success!” stated Shartrand. “When we are recognized and celebrate our team’s achievement I like to refer to a quote by Director John Huston, ‘I relieve myself from the rigors of directing by casting the movie correctly.’ At CCFS, we have a great cast and crew and I’m fortunate to be part of an outstanding team and great organization!”
