Integra HR, LLC Launches "Give Back & Impact" Campaign Across the Capital Region
*Drive-Thru Donation Drop Offs are Scheduled for 5/27 & 6/24; Community Fund set up at CAP COM FCU.*
Integra HR, LLC has officially launched their Give Back & Impact Campaign. In conjunction with the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Capital Region Cares, the campaign aims to raise awareness and show appreciation for the more overlooked employees and sectors of essential workers across the Capital Region. The campaign has a specific focus on Direct Support Professionals, Direct Care Workers and Food Pantry Employees. These employees, who were already in challenging roles serving vulnerable populations prior to the pandemic, are now faced with the added stressors of isolation and the real risk of exposure to COVID-19.
"These are the unsung heroes of our community, and we believe they deserve to be recognized for their commendable bravery and commitment to service during the pandemic," said Jennifer Massey, President of Integra HR, LLC.
"After working in Human Services and really getting to know many DSPs, Direct Care Workers and care takers personally and professionally, I truly respect their profession and feel they deserve recognition for what they do every day," said Trisha Cuzdey, HR Business Partner for Integra HR, LLC.
The Give Back & Impact campaign will recognize multiple organizations and their employees throughout the region with community donations and socially distant 'parades.' To start, the initiative aims to raise funding and collect donations for: Berkshire Farm Center, Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO) Food Pantry, Evergreen Commons, St. Catherine's Center for Children, Vanderheyden, and Unity House.
Members of the community are encouraged to give back in the form of monetary or food/supply donations. A community fund has been set up with CAP COM FCU: donations can be made by visiting any CAP COM branch drive thru by depositing into the IMPACT account, or by making checks payable to Give Back & Impact Fund (put Impact on the memo line) and mailing them to CAP COM FCU, Fund Deposit, 4 Winners Circle, Albany, NY, 12205.
Additionally, donation items will be accepted at the Defreestville Fire Department located on 350 N. Greenbush Road in Troy on Wednesday, May 27 from 5p.m. - 7p.m. Proper social distancing guidelines will be in place for the safety of all donors. To start, Integra HR has completed outreach to this initial set of organizations to get a list of specific items that are needed.

· New & Gently Used Books for Children through Adults
· Activity Books (puzzles/word searches/Sudoku/crosswords) Large & Regular Print
