Integra HR & the Defreestville Fire Department in partnership with the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber, Capital Region Cares & Snelling Staffing Services is Hosting a 4th Drive Thru Donation Drop Off Collection of Hygiene & Hoodies for those in need

Integra HR and the Defreestville Fire Department are partnering again with the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce, Snelling Staffing Services and Capital Region Cares to give to those in need. We are grateful to the community for helping us to collect hygiene products, hoodies, socks, and underwear for children and families in need. The donations collected will be given to the following agencies and school district program: the Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO), Vanderheyden, Unity House, SCAP, and the Troy City School District’s School 12’s Alternative Learning Program.

The event is “Hygiene & Hoodies for the Holidays” and we will collect items for children and families in need during this holiday season. “It is hard enough for so many during the holidays and not having basic hygiene and clothing items is unacceptable. This pandemic is already requiring so much from children and families, and anything we can do to assist our most vulnerable and make sure they have their basic needs met is what this event is all about”, noted Jennifer Massey, President and Co-Founder of Integra HR.

The event will be outside and will follow all social distancing guidelines. Volunteers will direct traffic to the Pavilion and donors will be asked to drop off items on the tables or volunteers will unload trunks or backseats of vehicles. In addition, if donors would rather not shop to purchase items, they can make monetary donations into the community fund set-up at CAPCOM FCU. People can visit any branch drive thru and tell them to deposit the donation in the IMPACT account or make checks payable to GIVE BACK & IMPACT FUND, put IMPACT on memo line, and mail to: CAPCOM FCU, Fund Deposit, 4 Winners Circle, Albany, NY 12205. Donations will be used to purchase the items listed above.

This project is being powered by Integra HR, a full-service HR and business consulting practice. Integra is committed to investing in our business community and the workforce that propels it.
