Integra HR & the Defreestville Fire Department in partnership with Capital Region Cares, Snelling Staffing Services & the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce Hosting Third (Drive Thru) Donation Drop Off for School Supplies

Integra HR and the Defreestville Fire Department are partnering again with the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce, Snelling Staffing Services and Capital Region Cares to give to those in need. We are grateful to the community for helping us to collect school supplies and non-perishable student snack items for families in need. The donations collected will be provided to the following agencies and school districts: The Commission on Economic Opportunity, Vanderheyden, St. Catherine’s Center for Children, Rensselaer City School District and East Greenbush Central School District.

This event is to collect donations of school supplies and non-perishable children's snacks to assist families in need for this upcoming school year. “We all know it is hard enough for families in need to get one set of supplies, and with the Pandemic we know families may need two sets of supplies this year depending upon the school’s re-opening plans. Some students will be returning in-person, some students will be receiving remote instruction, and others may be a combination of both. This pandemic is already requiring so much from families and children, and anything we can do to assist our most vulnerable and make sure they have what they need to learn and grow is what this event is all about”, noted Jennifer Massey, President and Co-Founder of Integra HR.

To follow social distancing guidelines, volunteers will direct traffic to the Pavilion and donors will be asked to drop off items on the tables. In addition, monetary donations can be deposited into the community fund set-up at CAPCOM FCU. People can visit any branch drive thru and tell them to deposit in the IMPACT account or make checks payable to GIVE BACK & IMPACT FUND, put IMPACT on memo line, and mail to: CAPCOM FCU, Fund Deposit, 4 Winners Circle, Albany, NY 12205. Donations will be used to purchase items listed above that the agencies need.

This project is being powered by Integra HR, a full-service HR and business consulting practice providing support to all size organizations. They are committed to investing in our business community and the workforce that propels it.
