H&V Collision Centers Donates Three Cars To Local Veterans
Three veterans in need of transportation will go to a minor league baseball game and each will leave with a car on Saturday in Troy.
The ValleyCats play the Brooklyn Cyclones that night at 7 p.m. at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium at Hudson Valley Community College.
The names of the recipients will be announced during a dinner that starts at 4:30 p.m.
H&V Collision Center and GEICO insurance will provide refurbished cars to the veterans after the game.
The vehicles donated on Aug. 19 will be the 19th, 20th and 21st vehicles donated by H&V. Last month, H&V and partners donated a refurbished van to the Vet House in Albany.
"All of us at H&V Collision Center, GEICO and other partners recognize the enormous service by our veterans and their families," said H&V's Vartan Jerian Jr. "H&V is proud to be able to join with our partners for this important donation to help three veterans following their service to our country. These donations show our veterans that their service is appreciated, respected and remembered."
