Hudson Valley Community College to Host Congressman Tonko at HVCC NORTH



Malta, N.Y. – United States Congressman Paul Tonko will visit the Hudson Valley Community College’s HVCC North extension center in Malta, NY. Congressman Tonko has selected HVCC North as one of the 15 FY2023 Community Funding Projects that he recently submitted to the House Committee on Appropriations for federal funding contributions, and his visit will provide the chance to talk with community stakeholders and partners as he works to secure the federal investment for the college and our region.

Hudson Valley Community College will offer a tour of existing facilities and review plans for HVCC North, which construction of a new 14,500 square foot STEM Education Center and renovations at the college’s existing TEC-SMART facility in Malta to increase access to education and workforce training opportunities in healthcare, STEM and skilled trades.
