Hoosick Falls Is "Open For (New) Business"

Hoosick Falls is ready to begin the re-branding of the downtown village area.

SCORE, supported by the Small Business Administration, has a mission to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. Hoosick Falls has recently hired a new Economic Development Manager, Briggs Buzzell, and together with SCORE, is participating in a two hour symposium to bring potential new business owners to Hoosick Falls to learn about business funding programs from the SBA, National Grid, the LDC (Local Business Corporation), Key Bank, Trustco and Tri-State Area Federal Credit Union.

Potential business owners will learn about key initiatives from our speakers then have the opportunity to discuss one-on-one with each representative how their new or expanding business might benefit. Potential business owners will learn about what it takes to secure financing.
