HMA Contracting & Capital District YMCA partner on Caring Community Basket Brigade

HMA Contracting's creation of the Caring Community Basket Brigade began in 2016 with the goal to feed fifty families a full Thanksgiving meal. Fast forward to 2021 and this campaign has fed over 2,400 families a full Thanksgiving meal. This year’s campaign we have a goal to feed 1,000 families.

This initiative would never have been able to grow like it has without the support and partnership from the Capital District YMCA.  The Capital District YMCA has made this campaign one of their community initiatives. We are very proud to team up with such an incredible organization in the Capital District.

The estimated cost to feed a family a complete meal is $65.00. The number of families we are able to feed will depend on the number of donations we receive. We are asking for monetary donations to purchase turkeys and/or complete meals. Please make out your check to the Capital District YMCA, memo the donation to Basket Brigade. All checks should be made out and mailed to the Capital District YMCA, 465 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 by November 15th, 2021. Your Monetary donation is tax-deductible. A donation can also be made using the following link: https://cdymca.org/basketbrigade/
