Hill & Markes, Inc. Welcomes New Vice President of Sales



Hill & Markes, an award winning wholesale distributor, is thrilled to announce the addition of Colin Doherty to Hill & Markes’ management team as Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Doherty was born and raised in the Capital District where he began his life-long career in Sales at RJ Gile and Corporate Express. Through his impressive work ethic, he was promoted to various Sales Management positions and ultimately served in the role of VP of Sales at Corporate Express in the Oregon Market. In his most recent role, Mr. Doherty worked in Sales Management at Staples.

“Colin comes to Hill & Markes from a big corporate structure of Staples and brings a history of success in process improvement, analytic-based decision making, and discipline, while also offering the entrepreneurial qualities required from a regional business such as strategic thinking, agility, and an appetite for prudent risk taking,” said Jason Packer, Chief Executive Officer at Hill & Markes.

In addition to his experience in the industry, Mr. Doherty embodies the temperament, determination, and skill set to develop and execute successful business-to-business strategies that will elevate the company to new heights.
