GreyCastle Security Acquires Eagledream's Cybersecurity Division

GreyCastle Security and EagleDream Technologies announced the two companies have formed a strategic partnership that will allow each organization to further accelerate growth and focus on their core competencies.

As a key measure of the partnership, GreyCastle Security has acquired EagleDream Technology’s cybersecurity division, which includes transitioning the company’s cybersecurity clients and full-time employees. The move adds to GreyCastle’s existing footprint in Rochester, New York, where 10 of the company’s 75 cybersecurity experts are located.

Meanwhile, EagleDream Technologies will refocus its resources towards growing its cloud computing and software development businesses.

“This opportunity was a no-brainer for both organizations,” said GreyCastle Security CEO Reg Harnish. “As leaders within our respective markets, we knew a partnership emphasizing our core competencies would only increase our growth potential in these geographies.”

The strategic partnership marks an ongoing commitment by both organizations to not only meet the growing needs of both firms’ clients, but also continue pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Headquartered in Troy, New York, GreyCastle Security headed into 2018 on the heels of a banner year, landing on the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. GreyCastle Security maintains a national client base of organizations in every state in the United States, including Fortune 5000 and Global 100 organizations.
