GlobalFoundries to Host 2022 Event Celebrating Vital Role of Women in Technology

“GlobalWomen” Conference includes keynote by 17-time LPGA champion Dottie Pepper

Malta, N.Y., March 25, 2022 – GlobalFoundries Inc. (Nasdaq: GFS) (GF) will host its third “GlobalWomen” Conference in Saratoga Springs, New York on Tuesday, March 29, celebrating the vital role of women in technology. The full-day conference is part of GF’s celebration of Women's History Month and International Women's Day, supporting female leadership and career development. The conference's keynote speaker is professional golfer, 17-time LPGA champion, television golf broadcaster and author, Dottie Pepper.

“This year’s conference theme, ‘Unleash Your GlobalWomen Superpowers!’ inspires women across our GF U.S. sites to recognize and build their personal brand and gives them tools to put their brand to work,” said Debra Leach, vice president of Fab 8 Manufacturing Business Operations at GF. “This year’s speakers are successful in their careers and leaders in their respective fields. Their stories, insights and advice will embolden the women of GF as they pursue their career goals.”

Launched in 2013, GF’s GlobalWomen consists of more than 1,500 women and men across the global company working in partnership to drive initiatives that support the professional development of women. GlobalWomen offers networking and mentoring, executive and guest panel discussions, professional development opportunities, external conference participation, and STEM community education programs to women at GF.
