Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York Announce Mission Delivery Coach
Albany, NY – Girl Scout of Northeastern New York (GSNENY) are pleased to announce their Director of Volunteer Services, Meena Lee, has been selected by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) as a Mission Delivery Coach.
The Mission Delivery Coach program is a highly competitive process and is a part of GSUSA’s commitment to leverage Council expertise to support peer-to-peer sharing and driving Movement-wide health and growth. Mission Delivery Coaches are trained and authorized to facilitate specific content modules which have been co-designed between GSUSA Subject Matter Experts, National Volunteer Partners, and the Coaches themselves.
Throughout this program, Lee will receive specialized training to develop and coach staff across the movement of delivering the Girl Scout Mission. She will be trained and authorized to develop, plan, prepare and facilitate peer led GSUSA courses to GSNENY and Councils across the Movement. Some of the curriculum content modules she will learn include, but are not limited to, Girl Scout Programming, Conflict Resolution, Customer Service, and Data Analytics.
Lee will attend a virtual orientation in the beginning of November and will attend an intensive Virtual Mission Delivery Coach training at the end of January. Lee will serve as a Mission Delivery Coach from November 2021 through December 31, 2022. While in her Mission Deliver Coach role, Lee will also continue to serve as GSNENY’s Director of Volunteer Services.
