Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Announces they are still COVID-19 Free



Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 240 bed skilled nursing facility in East Greenbush, NY is noted to be one of the very few skilled nursing facilities or nursing homes to still be Covid-19 free amongst their residents. On Monday, May 11th Evergreen Commons administration and management, in conjunction with the NYS DOH decided to test all of their residents in a continuous effort to ensure for proactive planning and preparation; all Evergreen Commons residents tested negative for Covid-19.

Sarah Paparella MPH, LNHA Administrator of Evergreen Commons stated that “all of Evergreen Commons; our residents, staff, and families should be very proud as this is a true reflection of all of our hard work and dedication to fight Covid-19, together” she continued to state that “however this is a true testament to our hard work, this is not over. We will continue to stay diligent and practice proper infection control standards. Team Evergreen is strong and we will not stop fighting”.
