Denise Gonick joins the FAM Funds Board at Fenimore Asset Management
Fenimore Asset Management, the investment advisor to FAM Funds, announces that Denise V. Gonick has joined the FAM Funds Board of Independent Trustees. Denise is a lawyer by profession and was most recently the President & CEO of MVP Health Care.
During her seven years as President & CEO, MVP Health Care successfully diversified its portfolio of offerings, completed a major acquisition, delivered strong financial results, and became the second largest company headquartered in the Capital Region. Denise’s commitment to fostering a diverse and accountable culture helped MVP become one of the top large companies to work for in New York State.

Respected for her talents as a collaborative and strategic thinker, Denise is often asked to take on leadership roles in business and not-for-profit organizations both regionally and statewide. She is Chair of the New York State Health Plan Association and a past chair of The Business Council of New York State and Capital Region Chamber. Denise also serves on several nonprofit boards, including Proctors Theater and the Women’s Leadership Institute Advisory Board of the College of St. Rose. She is a graduate of Hofstra University and earned her JD from Albany Law School.
