County Waste & Recycling Continues to Safely Serve Customers Through Pandemic



County Waste & Recycling has announced that they are continuing to serve new and existing customers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Routes and pick-ups will continue to run as planned, with no interruptions.  The Clifton Park based waste management group has taken extra safety precautions to protect their customers and employees. They request that their customers adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Bag & tie your trash.
  • Keep all items in containers and avoid loose or bulky items.
  • Unless otherwise directed, continue to place recyclable items loose in your recycling bin. Rinse all tubs, jugs, jars and cans.
  •  Limit interaction with our teammates & practice social distancing.

In addition, County Waste issued the following statement to their customers: 

"We provide an essential service within our communities and strive to meet our customer commitments. At County Waste - Clifton Park, we have developed and implemented business continuity plans to ensure our operations run as effectively as possible during this unique period in order to keep our commitment to provide the best possible service in a courteous, effective manner, and show respect and gratitude for those we are fortunate to serve."
